Driven by his ambitious mother Ok-ja and his own innate greed, Do-hyun fakes his residence to move into Seoul’s elite education district, Daechi-dong. When he loses a coveted exchange student opportunity to a wealthy friend who’s been abusing disability benefits—only to discover the friend isn’t actually disabled—he starts to see cracks in the system.

Teaming up with Ji-woo, a fellow student from a university startup club, he begins exploiting loopholes in government subsidies—abusing extra credit points for youth, women, and disabled applicants to collect startup grants. He quickly realizes that “startup funds are just blind money the government gives you so you can fail on their dime.” With that insight, he bounces from one deliberate business failure to the next.

Eventually, Do-hyun launches a crypto startup backed by a multimillion-won investor, Kevin. Consumed by ambition, he develops the "MOMMY" coin, achieving record-breaking success. But as the numbers soar, so does the scrutiny—financial regulators start to monitor irregularities in the algorithm and questionable interest schemes...
